The Du Monde Years is an historic 66 track collection of music recorded by Australian artist for the
Du Monde and Violets Holiday record labels during the period from the late 1960s until the mid 1970s.
These rare tracks were mostly recorded at the now legendary World of Sound Studios at Ramsgate in Sydney's
south and were all released on vinyl discs which are now extremely rare and are eagerly sought by collectors world wide
Bands including Flake, King Fox, Harry Young & Sabbath, Galadriol, McPhee, Samael Lilith,
The 69ers and many more have now been immortalised on this four disc collectors edition.
Included also are tracks
by The Trailblazers which features Tommy & Phil Emmanuel on their first commercial recording made in 1970 when they were still teenagers and John Paul Young's first commercial recording with Elm Tree, also in 1970 -
both tracks recorded at World of Sound Studios I personally sound restored all 66 tracks from the original mono or stereo master tapes and digitised them for CD ... and they sound great!! Click on the links below to
